RainFrog Statement on Israeli-Palestine Relations

RainFrog Ethical Investment Partnership abhors the use of violence against civilians in the struggle for political power. We categorically condemn the recent terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens and offer our condolence to the families and communities affected.

However, RainFrog does not believe that our condemnation will put an end to the violence in Israel and Palestine. Palestine is a nation under a brutal and repressive foreign occupation. We believe that for as long as the Palestinian people are forced to live with acts of terror there will be those who choose to die in acts of terror.

RainFrog does not believe in concession to or negotiation with terrorists. Neither do we believe in the punishment of an entire population for the crimes committed by individuals. We believe the onus is on Israel as an internationally recognized government to move for peace between Israel and Palestine.

RainFrog urges Israel to comply with UN resolutions 242 and 338 calling for a full and permanent withdrawal to Israel's pre-1967 borders. We urge Israel to comply with UN resolutions 1397 and 1402 by allowing the creation of a viable Palestinian state. We call for Israel to accept UN resolution 194 recognizing the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes. RainFrog reserves the right to boycott or divest from or to engage in shareholder activism within companies that continue to do business in or with Israel or the occupied territories in contravention of the citizen's boycott on Israeli goods and services.

RainFrog looks forward to the day when the nation of Israel will comply with international law and will exist in peace within secure pre-1967 borders.
